Binding: copy 1 is bound in modern quarter calf, with gilt spine and marbled boards. Copy 2 is bound in old half vellum with marbled boards. Copy 2 includes a contemporary engraved bookplate pasted inside the front cover, signed by G. Bozza
Illustrations: frontispiece depicting a triumphal arch erected at the entrance to the Canale Grande, engraved by Giacinto Maina after Giovanni Antonio Selva and Giuseppe Borsato. Four numbered aquatint plates executed by Ferdinando Albertolli: one depicting the facade and the ground-plan of the triumphal arch after Selva, two plates of festive gondolas that were taking part in the regatta (c.f. Vinet) after Rizzi and Borsato, and a plate depicting the facade and the ground-plan of a temporary structure after Borsato. The plates are aquatints accordingly to Vinet
