Library's copy with the artist's Signorum veterum icones (I.D. no. 88-B4538) published after 1672 and as associated with this work, before 1726
Library's copy sharply trimmed, in some instances to the plate line, has sheets watermarked with the arms of Amsterdam, varying slightly (e.g., plates 28, 46) and countermarked AC (e.g., plate 29) and LBM (e.g., plate 37)
Etched, historiated t.p. by Gérard de Lairesse
Conventions of the t.p., artist's initials alone, nature of the tribute to Bisschop, indicate posthumous production. Visscher family operated their business until 1726 when it was sold to Andries de Leth
